Advanced: Reformer Planks & Mat Core Challenge
Putting this in the "Creative Corner" for intermediate to advanced movers wanting a fun core challenge and to mix it up. I had lots of planking moves I wanted to do but didn’t want the consistent load on the wrists. Instead of using “child’s pose” or “rest positions” I wanted to see how it felt (as a movement experience) to mix and match advanced planking with traditional supine core exercises. So I sacrificed flow completely.
"Core-ate Chop" aka chop and change from front to back multiple times. Not only was it a fun change, some exercises felt like a really nice balance and some were really helpful in making others more successful. Firstly time trying this out. Hope you have fun!
