1. Out of consideration for the instructor, other clients, and also for your own safety, the warm-up is an important aspect of each class. Please ensure you are on time, and if you are more than 15 minutes late for a class, you may not be able to train. Leaving a class early is strongly discouraged.
  2. Instructors reserve the right to restrict clients to a particular class type for safety reasons; Instructors reserve the right to turn clients away if they do not have the correct medical clearance.
  3. Instructors and classes are subject to change without notice. The Movement Society reserves the right to cancel classes if necessary. Timetable and teachers are subject to change. The Movement Society closes on public holidays.
  4. Gift cards and referral credits can be redeemed for classes, memberships, or products. They are not redeemable for cash.
  5. Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. However, the schedule is subject to change or cancellation without notice. The Movement Society is not liable to refund, transfer or offer compensation of any kind for classes that are late, changed, or canceled for any reason.
  6. All purchases are final. The Movement Society does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, user error, injury, illness, change of address, or any other reason.
Class Bookings

Classes are required to be booked in advance. Please be aware classes are on a first come first serve basis and members are given priority access to classes. To avoid disappointment, classes must be booked in advance.

Bookings are made online or using the smartphone app. Please feel free to call or text Elise on 0438928402 or Email elise@mvmtsociety.com.au if you are unable to book online.

Payment must be made in advance or upon booking, NO exceptions. To book into a class you must either have pre-purchased sessions in your account or pay at the time of booking in the studio.

Introductory Offer & Class Packs

Our Introductory Offer or 3 Class Taster of 3 Classes (valid for 2 months) is only available to brand new clients of The Movement Society. You can only purchase the Introductory offer once. The Introductory Offer is non-refundable nor transferable and will activate from the date of your first class booking.

Our ‘Class Packs’ are non-transferable and non-refundable. Class packs can be shared with a family or spouse if approved.

MVMT Memberships

Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Memberships cannot be shared with a family or spouse if approved. Bookings are essential. Any unused classes at the end of the 12-Week period do not rollover. There are no provisions for the termination of this contract before the Minimum 12-week term. Cancellation of renewed memberships must be made in writing with at least 14-day’s notice of your next scheduled payment.

Memberships are valid for the duration of the block only and commence from the date of your first class booking. Block enrolments are non-refundable and are not transferable between clients. They CANNOT be extended unless you are injured, in which case we will request a medical certificate. Extensions due to medical reasons must be requested before the expiry date. The remaining block passes will expire when the block commences.

Autopayments

Payments sometimes decline because of card problems, security or funding issues. If there are insufficient funds for whatever reason at the time of the direct debit The Movement Society will attempt to recharge every day (24 hours) after unless you contact The Movement Society and let us know an alternative payment arrangement. For every unsuccessful payment, a $14.80 fee is imposed directly by our payment processing company (EZI Debit) and you will need to provide an alternative form of payment within 10 days. Transactions will appear on your financial statements from our payment processing company: EZIDEBIT.

Cancellation Policy

At MVMT our class sizes are limited and fill very quickly. This is why our Cancellation Policy exists which all clients must be adhere to: Cancellations need to be made more than 8 hours prior to your class beginning. Private sessions: A 24hr cancellation policy applies. Late Cancel (within 8 hours) will deduct a class visit and late fee and no-shows penalties may be enforced.

Please late cancel if you are unable to attend a class to make your place available to others.

If a class you particularly want is fully booked please sign up for the waiting list. Should a place become available then you will automatically added to this class. If you can no longer make a class, please remove yourself from the waitlist to allow your place will be offered to the next client. Failure to remove yourself from the waitlist will result in a lost session if you are added to the class.

Payment must be made upon booking, NO exceptions.  To book into a class you must either have credits in your account or pay at the time of booking. Payment can be made online, via direct deposit or cash.

Suspending Block Memberships

Monthly passes CANNOT be extended unless you are injured, in which case we will ask for a letter from your doctor.  Please be aware when purchasing your Monthly pass that you will be required to use your pass within the block duration otherwise we recommend for you to purchase a Block session pack.

Personal Agreement

I agree that The Movement Society is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of my personal belongings while I attend class. I understand that classes may be physically strenuous and I voluntarily participate in them with full knowledge that there is risk of personal injury, property loss or death. I agree that neither I, my heirs, assigns or legal representatives will sue or make any other claims of any kind whatsoever against The Movement Society or its members for any personal injury, property damage/loss, or wrongful death, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

The Movement Society does not assume responsibility for any lost or stolen personal property. If you do become the victim of a theft, immediately report it to a staff member.

DISCLAIMER: Always consult a physician or health care professional before participating/performing exercise or any other fitness class for your own safety. Consulting a healthcare professional is advised to determine if this is right for your physical condition and needs. By participating in the exercises, you are performing them at your own risk. You should understand that when participating in any exercise or exercise class, there is the possibility of physical injury.
