Deep Core Activation
This equipment-free Pilates mat flow is about the deepest layer of your core—the Transverse Abdominis. The corset muscle is responsible for stabilising the spine. We work two orientations: supine (lying on your back) and four-point kneeling. This is a VIP muscle group to train! We move slowly, focussing on finding a connection between body and breath.
It is wonderful postnatally if you have any abdominal separation or if you have any back pain and want to focus on strengthening the deep core muscles.
No equipment, all you need is yourself and your mat. X
