Sun salutations (Surya Namaskar) are a sequence of the same Yoga postures, repeated and used in the warm-up of a Vinyasa yoga class. The goal is to help us disconnect from the distractions of daily life, connect to our body and breath, and enter a meditative state.

This class is a very quick sun salutation practice for Postnatal Mummas designed to open tight areas and set you up for the day.  We focus on hips, hamstrings, quads, and some beautiful chest openers designed to energise tiresome bodies and counter rounded feeding postures. 

While the class and postures are gentle and safe, we do encourage that you wait until you get the all clear from your doctor and pelvic floor physio at your 6-week check-up before participating in this class.
